Admission Overview

NIS welcomes candidates from diverse social and cultural backgrounds whodemonstrate a desire to continuously learn and grow. Nursing the student learning environment, we are committed to ensuring our students gain access to top colleges/universities worldwide by enabling them with all the tools necessary.

At NIS, we work towards understanding the different learning needs of our students and providing them with an enriched learning environment. The rich pastoral care and support of our staff makes NIS, a home away from home.

Admission is open to students between the age of 3 to 5 and is strictly selective based on the assessment conducted by school & previous year's class result.

Admission Process

Admission forms are available in the school administrative department. Complete application forms are to be submitted on or between stipulated date.

Documents required at the time of admission

A) An attested photocopy of the student's Birth Certificate
B) 3 copies of Passport Size Photograph of the student
C) Identity Proof of parents

Academic Session

* The new academic session commences in January fro Pre-nursery to Class X
* While most students will join at the beginning of each academic year, we understand that some may arrive at a later date. Based on the availability of places, we are happy to admit students throughout the year.

Age Criteria

Class Age at start of academic session
Pre-nursery Minimum 3 years on 30th January
Nursery 4 Years
KG 5 years
and so on....

Attendance Requirements

Students must attend their classes regularly, students must require a minimum of 95% of the classes held or otherwise they will not be allowed to appear of their annual examination.
A student failing to attend classes for 30 days at stretch without proper knowledge of the authority is liable to forfit his/her seat.


It is compulsory that the student must appear in all unit test/terminal test and annual examination conducted by NIS.
